Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 21, 2026
nGaugeAi ("nGaugeAi", "we", "us") builds bid intelligence tools for federal contractors — a web app at ngaugeai.com and a companion browser extension for Chrome and Firefox. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, who processes it on our behalf, and how you can delete it.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your uploaded solicitation documents or company data to train public AI models.
What we collect
- Account and profile info: name, email, password (hashed), and optional profile details you provide.
- Workspace and company data: company profile, NAICS/PSC codes, set-aside designations, teammates you invite, and roles.
- Uploaded solicitation documents: RFPs, RFQs, attachments, and any files you upload for analysis. Stored in your workspace and visible only to your workspace members.
- SAM.gov opportunity data: publicly available federal opportunity records you import or that we fetch from the SAM.gov API on your behalf.
- Usage data: log events such as pages viewed, features used, and error diagnostics, used to operate and improve the product.
- Payment info: processed by Stripe. We receive a customer ID and subscription/charge metadata — we do not store your full card number.
Browser extension
Our Chrome and Firefox extension is designed to be minimal and transparent:
storagepermission: used only to persist your nGaugeAi session token and active workspace ID locally on your device, so the extension knows you're signed in when you click it.activeTabpermission: used only when you click the extension icon on a SAM.gov opportunity page. It reads that specific tab's URL/notice ID so we can import that opportunity into your workspace. It does not run on unrelated tabs and does not read your browsing history.- Hosts the extension communicates with:
sam.gov— to read the notice ID and public opportunity metadata from the page you're viewing.ngaugeai.com— to sync your signed-in session so imports land in the correct workspace.supabase.co— our backend, which receives the captured opportunity and stores it in your workspace.
The extension does not collect keystrokes, form data, passwords, or content from non-SAM.gov pages.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of processors to run the service. Your data may pass through them for the purposes listed below:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Supabase / Lovable Cloud — application hosting, database, authentication, storage, and edge functions.
- Resend — transactional email (sign-in notifications, invitations, billing receipts, digests you opt into).
- SAM.gov API — public federal opportunity data. We send opportunity/notice identifiers to retrieve public records.
How we use data
- To operate features you request — analysis, scoring, imports, sharing.
- To secure the service and prevent abuse.
- To send account, billing, and (opt-in) product emails.
- To improve product performance and reliability.
Retention and deletion
Workspace data is retained while your account is active. You can delete individual opportunities, documents, and workspaces from inside the app at any time.
To request full account and data deletion, email hello@ngaugeai.com from the address on the account. We remove account records and workspace data within 30 days, subject to limited retention for billing/legal records where required by law.
No sale of data
We do not sell personal data to third parties, and we do not share it with advertisers.
